Ferry service builds new improved vessel 

Sea SA car & passenger ferries has announced that it has commenced construction of a new purpose- built, 56 metre vessel, Aurora, swith bookings expected to commence for the cross Spencer Gulf service later this year. 

The new ferry will carry 85 cars and 300 passengers.  Designed to latest international regulations, she will deliver greater cost-effectiveness in meeting the needs of the increasing vehicle market.  New improved design features include a stabilizer system for a smoother ride and a forward visor to keep vehicle deck areas totally dry.   

“Sea SA will definitely be back bigger and better than ever!” Sea SA Managing Director Stephanie Dawson said.
