Bus connection to ferry service

Bus links to ferries now available Fridays and Sundays

Connecting buses for people commuting between Adelaide and Port Lincoln via the ferry will be available from Friday 4 July 2008, on Fridays and Sundays, thanks to a new partnership with Sea SA and Genesis Tour & Charter.

The link forms part of some exciting new holiday accommodation packages developed by Sea SA Getaways (see www.seasagetaways.com.au)

To coincide with the current ferry timetable (ie. 1.30pm departure ex Wallaroo and 4.00pm departure ex Lucky Bay on Fridays, and 12noon departure ex Wallaroo and 2.30pm departure ex Lucky Bay on Sundays), the Sea SA Genesis bus timetable is as follows -

Adelaide to Port Lincoln

Fridays - 11.00am depart Adelaide Central Bus Station, Franklin Street, arrive Wallaroo approx. 1.00pm, to connect with 1.30pm ferry. Ferry arrives Lucky Bay at approx. 3.30pm. Bus departs Lucky Bay at 4.00pm. Arrive Port Lincoln Hotel at approx. 6.00pm.

Sundays – 9.30am depart Adelaide Central Bus Station, arrive Wallaroo approx. 11.30am, to connect with 12 noon ferry. Ferry arrives Lucky Bay at approx. 2.00pm. Bus departs Lucky Bay at 2.30pm. Arrive Port Lincoln Hotel at approx. 4.30pm.

Port Lincoln to Adelaide

Fridays - 1.30pm depart Port Lincoln, Port Lincoln Hotel, arrive Lucky Bay approx. 3.30pm, to connect with 4.00pm ferry. Ferry arrives Wallaroo at approx. 6.00pm. Bus departs Wallaroo at 6.30pm. Arrive Adelaide Central Bus Station, Franklin Street, at approx. 8.30pm.

Sundays – 12.00noon depart Port Lincoln, Port Lincoln Hotel, arrive Lucky Bay approx. 2.00pm, to connect with 2.30pm ferry. Ferry arrives Wallaroo at approx. 4.30pm. Bus departs Wallaroo at 5.00pm. Arrive Adelaide Central Bus Station, Franklin Street, at approx. 7.00pm.

NB. Departures ex Port Lincoln must be confirmed no later than COB on the Thursday before the weekend of travel.

$75 one way (Adelaide - Port Lincoln OR Port Lincoln - Adelaide)

$70 one way concession (Seniors card holders, full time students with photo ID & children up to 15 yrs)

$150 per person return

$140 per person return concession (Seniors card holders, full time students with photo ID & children up to 15 yrs)

$55 one way single leg (ie. Adelaide to Lucky Bay ferry terminal OR Port Lincoln to Wallaroo ferry terminal)

$50 one way concession single leg (as above)
